How to get to Nanjing Railway Station by Metro or Taxi

Nanjing Railway Station is located in Xuanwu District, 4km northeast of Nanjing downtown, 15km northeast of Nanjing South Railway Station, 46m north of Nanjing Lukou Airport. Nanjing Railway Station can be reached by metro line 1, line 3, taxi and bus. Metro is strongly recommended.

Option 1, Take Metro Line 1 or Line 3

Nanjing railway station can be reached by Metro line 1 and Line 3. Metro is mostly recommended public transport to get to Nanjing Railway Station.

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Nanjing Railway Station.

Option 3, Take Bus

There are 28 bus routes to or pass Nanjing Railway Station, including bus 36, bus 141, Airport Bus line, etc. The bus stations are on south station square and north station square.

But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
