How to get from Xian Airport to Xian North Railway Station

Xian North Railway Station is located 27km east of Xi'an Xian'yang international Airport (XIY). There are three public transports to travel between Xian North Railway Station and Xian Airport: Express train, airport bus and taxi. Airport express train is mostly recommended. The duration is around 33 minutes and the ticket price is RMB16 per person.

Airport Express Train

Opened on Sep 29 2019, the 29.5km intercity railway links Xian North Railway Station and Xian Xianyang Airport (XIY). This airport express train can finishs the journey in 33 minutes with a maximum speed of 100 km/h. The ticket price is RMB16. It is the cheapest and most convenient way from or to Xian downtown.

The station's name at Xian North Railway Station: Beikezhan Station (Beiguangchang) (北客站-北广场). It is located on North Square of Xian North Railway Station. The distance to Xian North Railway Station Terminal is around 550 metres. It takes around 8 minutes by walking.

The station's name at Xian Airport: Jichangxi (机场西). It is located in Ground Transportation Center of Xian Airport. The distances to T2 and T3 both are around 300 metres. It takes around 5 minutes by walking.

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Xian North Railway Station from Xian airport. Passenger can take Taxi easily at the exit gate of Arrivals Hall in Terminal 1, Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.
