Xi'an Xianyang International Airport(IATA: XIY) is located 35km northwest of Xian city centre, the capital of China's Shaanxi Province. It is the largest airport in Northwest China and 11 largest airport in China. In 2025, Xi’an Xianyang International Airport recorded 48,536,000 passenger trips, 336,700 aircraft movements, and 334,800 metric tons of cargo and mail .

There are three terminals, Terminal 2 opened in 2003, Terminal 3 opened in 2012, Terminal 5 commenced operation on 20 February 2025. After the terminal reshuffle on 24 December 2025, T1 has ceased passenger service permanently.

Covering an area of about 12 square kilometres, Xi’an Xianyang International Airport operates three runways: one 3,800‑metre runway and two 3,000‑metre runways.
