Xian East Railway Station (Chinese name 西安东站, Xian Dong Zhan) is located in Xincheng district, 15km southeast of Xian City Center, 38km southwest of The terra-cotta warriors museum, 55km southeast of Xian Xianyang International Airport. The station opened on 30 June 2026. .
Xian East Railway Station is the terminus of Wuhan-Xi'an High-speed Railway, Chongqing-Xi'an high-speed railway Railway. It serves 169 high-speed trains trains(G/D/C) per day.
Xi'an East Station has a total construction area of 394,000 square meters, with a station building area of 100,000 square meters. The land area of the station square is approximately 66,000 square meters, and the station yard has a scale of 13 platforms and 27 tracks.

Departures
Step 1:Get to north station building or south station building of Xian East Railway Station by metro, taxi, bus or car 35 minutes before train departure.
Step 2: At entrance, go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.
Step 3: Find the Boarding Gate (Ticket Check Gate). The gate No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport and confirmation No. to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs

Do you need to collect paper tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most train routes from or to Xian East Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the paper tickets at ticket office.

Arrivals
Step 1: After get off your train, follow direction signs to exits. And please show your passport and confirmation No.(or paper ticket) to station staff to check out.
Step 2: Leave Xian East Railway Station by metro, bus, taxi or car.
