Haikou Meilan Airport Terminal 2 Guides

As the Phase II Expansion Project was done, Haikou Meilan Airport Terminal 2 was officially put into operation in Dec 2021. It is located 1km north of Terminal 1. T2 mainly serves International flights, domestic flights of Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines. It covers an area of nearly 300 thousand square meters, has 5 check-in islands with 110 check-in counter.

Phase II contains 72 operating aircraft stands and is designed to rate as Grade 4F. The second runway is 3600meter-long and 60meter-wide, which can take off and land the A380, the largest civil aircraft in the world.

Special Passsengers Service

In order to practice the concept of "sincere service" of CAAC and ensure the travel of special people, Meilan Airport has specially set up an independent waiting and rest area for special passengers to provide passengers with a warm and comfortable waiting environment and warm, considerate and thoughtful services. Medical First Aid

Service time: 24-hours.

The first aid center is an airport emergency rescue organization, and there are 9 rescue support levels. Its design and structure, equipped rescue vehicles and rescue facilities and equipment are formulated in accordance with gb18040-2019 allocation of emergency rescue facilities and equipment of civil air transport airport and code for emergency rescue of civil transport airport. The airport emergency rescue organization is divided into first aid center, first aid station, first aid room of international terminal building and first aid room of domestic departure hall

1. First aid station: opposite door 5 on the first floor of domestic arrival hall

2. Emergency room: next to No. 1 security staff passage on the east side of the third floor of the departure hall

3. Emergency room: near the gate of 245 remote stand on the first floor of the northwest corridor in the isolation area

4. Emergency room: emergency room opposite gate 46 of International Departure Hall on the 4th floor

One emergency center in the functional area, located in the southwest functional area of Meilan Airport, with a construction area of 1400m2, is an independent and basically fully equipped emergency rescue unit.
