Haikou Meilan Airport Terminal 1 Guides

Haikou Meilan Airport Terminal 1 was officially put into operation and the Phase I Expansion Project was finished in Jan 2016. It is located 1km south of Terminal 2. T1 mainly serves domestic flights, except Hainan Airlines and China Southern Airlines.

It covers an area of nearly 150 thousand square meters. Phase I contains 67 operating aircraft stands, and is rated as Grade 4E with 3600meter-long and 45meter-wide runways, which can satisfy the demands of full-weight taking-off and landing of such large airplanes as Boeing 747-400.

The first aid center is an airport emergency rescue organization, and there are 9 rescue support levels. Its design and structure, equipped rescue vehicles and rescue facilities and equipment are formulated in accordance with gb18040-2019 allocation of emergency rescue facilities and equipment of civil air transport airport and code for emergency rescue of civil transport airport.
