How to get to Chengdu East Railway Station from Shuangliu Airport(CTU) by metro, bus or taxi

Chengdu East Railway Station is located 23km northeast of Chengdu Shuangliu Airport(CTU). There are three public transports to travel between Chengdu East Railway Station and Chengdu Shuangliu Airport: metro, airport bus and taxi. Metro is mostly recommended. The duration is around 39 minutes, and ticket price is RMB6 per person one way

Option 1, Metro line 10 + Metro line 3, 39 minutes, RMB6

First: Take Metro line 10 from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport T1 or T2 to Taipingyuan Station(太平园)

Passing Stations: 5, Duration: 13 minutes, Interval: 5 minutes, Operation hours: 06:05 - 23:10

Then: Transfer Metro line 7 to Chengdu East Railway Station(成都东客站) from Taipingyuan Station(太平园)

Passing Stations: 9, Duration: 21 minutes, Interval: 6 minutes, Operation hours: 06:15 - 23:10

Option 2: Taxi, 33 minutes, around RMB60

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Chengdu East Railway Station from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport(CTU). Passenger can take Taxi easily at the exit gate of arrivals Hall in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 .

Pick up area: 50 metres outside of Gate 2 of arrival hall (T1), Outside of Gate 4 and 5 of arrival hall(T2)
