How to get from Chengdu Shuangliu Airport(CTU) to Chengdu City Centre by metro, bus or taxi

Chengdu downtown is located 18km southwest of Chengdu Shuangliu international Airport (CTU). There are three public transports to travel between Chengdu city centre and Chengdu Shuangliu Airport: metro line 10, airport bus and taxi. Metro line 10 is mostly recommended. The duration is around 35 minutes, and ticket price is RMB5 per person one way.

Metro line 10

Chengdu Shuangliu Airport can be reached by metro line 10. There are two metro stations: T1 station(双流机场1号航站楼) and T2 station(双流机场2号航站). It is the most convenient and cheapest way to get to Shuangliu Airport from Downtown.

Ticket price: RMB2 - RMB8 per person

Taxi

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to travel between Chengdu Shuangliu Airport and downtown.

Pick up area: 50 metres outside of Gate 2 of arrival hall (T1), Outside of Gate 4 and 5 of arrival hall(T2)
