How to travel to Wulingyuan Scenic Spot by High-Speed Train

As one World Natural Heritage Site, Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Spot is located around 28.5km south of Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. Travelers can take taxi to visit Wulingyuan Scenic Spot from Zhangjiajie West Railway Station.

Opened on Dec 26 2019, Zhangjiajie West Railway Station (Chinese name 张家界西站, Zhangjiajie Xi) is one new high-speed rail station in Zhangjiajie. As one important station of Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde High-Speed Railway and Zhangjiajie-Jishou-Huaihua High-speed Railway, Zhangjiajie West Railway Station handles around 20 high-speed trains per day. But now the bullet trains are only available between Changsha and Zhangjiajie.

Step 1: Book high-speed train tickets from your city to Changsha, for example Guangzhou to Changsha South, then book high-speed train tickets from Changsha South to Zhangjiajie West online.

Step 2: Take your train to Changsha South railway station, and then transfer another train from Changsha South Railway Station to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station.

Step 3: take taxi to Wulingyuan Scenic Spot from Zhangjiajie West Railway Station

Distance: 28.5km

Duration: 35 minutes

Taxi fare: around RMB95 one way

Taxi pick up areas: 1F, on station square

Step 4: Spend 2- 3 days to enjoy your visiting of Wulingyuan Scenic Spot.

Step 5: Take taxi back to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station, then take the high-speed train to your next destination. Or take taxi to Zhangjiajie Airport, then take flight to leave Zhangjiajie
