Opened in 1902, rebuilt in 2000, reopened on Dec 21 2012, Shijiazhuang Railway Station (Chinese name 石家庄站, Shijiazhuang Zhan) is located in Qiaoxi District, 5km south of Shijiazhuang downtown. It covers 105,900 square metres, and has 13 platforms, 30 railway tracks. Shijiazhuang Railway Station combines both ordinary passenger train station (denoted with letter Z/T/K) and high-speed train station(G/D/C series) that handles 196 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Shijiazhuang-Jinan High-speed Railway and Shijiangzhuang-Taiyuan High-speed Railway.

Departures
Step 1: Arrive at Shijiazhuang Railway Station by metro, taxi, car or bus 45 minutes before train departure.
Step 2: Get through the real-name ID check. Please show your passport to station staff at entrance of station. The staff will scan your passport to check your identity document and your booking.
Step 3: Get through security check and find the boarding gate (Ticket Check). The live information of gate is on the overhead screens in departure hall, and the boarding gate No. of your train will be in our confirmation email we send you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The ticket check gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport to station staff to check in . The gate will be closed 5 minutes before train departure

Do you need to collect paper tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most high-speed and bullet train routes from or to Shijiazhuang Railway Station.
