Option 1, Taxi
Taxi is one convenient and fast way to get to Shantou Railway Station.
Taxi drop-off and pick-up areas are on B1 level
The taxi fare to Shantou Railway Station from Chaozhou downtown is around RMB15 and the duration is around 12 minutes

Option 2, Take Bus
There are 26 bus routes to or pass Shantou Railway Station, including bus k3 from Shantou University, K6 from Guang'ao port to Shantou Railway Station. The bus transfer hall is on B1, but the bus stations on station square on 1F.
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
