Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (IATA: XMN, Chinese Name: 厦门高崎国际机场) is located 12km northeast of Xiamen city centre. It was opened Oct 22 1983. The airport was expanded in 1992 and terminal 3 was opened in 1996. Terminal 4 was opened on Dec 28 2014.
Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport covers 237,800 square meters, and has one 3400 metres runway. There are two terminals at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport: terminal 3 and terminal 4. Terminal 4 is located 4km east of Terminal 3. As the 13th busiest airport in China, it handled 24,710,000 passengers in 2019.
Xiamen Gaoqi airport is an international civil airport with 182 flights to more than 105 domestic and international destinations, and serves 25 domestic airlines, 15 international airlines.
Terminal 3 mainly serves all international, HK-Macau-Taiwan flights, and some China domestic flights, including Xiamen Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Hebei Airlines.
Terminal 4 serves China domestic flights.

If the above three categories of residence permits held by foreign nationals are expired after 12 a.m of 28 March 2020, the holders may apply for relevant visas by presenting the expired residence permits and relevant materials to the Chinese embassies or consulates on the condition that the purpose of the holders' visit to China remains unchanged.
